I just wanted to express my thanks for having me as part of the Ring O’ Fire. It was my first time running over 100k and oh boy did I learn a lot about myself. At no point more so than when the weather turned on Saturday afternoon. If I could individually thank every volunteer who made it such a special event I would. The aid stations were such welcoming havens, and I’m in awe of the logistics of moving the bags. I will recommend Ring O’ Fire to anyone silly enough to want to run 130 miles. It was beautiful and brutal but most importantly incredible. I can’t wait to visit Anglesey again (it was my first trip), and who knows Ring O’ Fire might come calling again but I’ll enjoy a well deserved break for a while before making any commitments. As before, thank you again. It will hold a special place in my memories and for that I’m truly grateful.
