There are 16 checkpoints spaced between 5 and 12 miles along the length of the Ring O' Fire course. If you inadvertently miss a checkpoint you will incur a three hour time penalty, which will be added to your time at the end of the Stage.

Firelighter and Ring O' Fire follow exactly the same route for the first day and share the same checkpoints.

Please see the Schedule page for full details of check point locations and opening/closing times and more.

What do people say about us?

"James & Team, Thank you for an 'amazing' event. Won't say I loved every minute! but there were so many magic moments, Day 1 sunset on the tops above PorthWen ...Stunning. Day 2 Sunrise @ Trwyn Du.. It went slightly downhill from there till Day 3 : I just had to make Sandy's & my home... The welcome and the bacon butty got me all fired up for the rest of the 'run' with its stunning scenery and fantastic welcome at EVERY Check point, as there was throughout the event. The finish Superb, the beer didn't touch the sides! Thank you all so much 'Team'."
