Our Royal Send Off!

The Duke of Cambridge officially started the 2013 Ring O' Fire and was accompanied by the Duchess of Cambridge on their first public appearance together since the birth of Prince George.

We are truly thrilled that Prince William and Kate were able to give our 2013 runners a royal send off!! They spent about an hour with our with race directors Bing and Q, as they mingled on the start line and met some of our runners.

What a fantastic memory for everyone involved!

"Amazing event, thanks to all involved in organising and running the RoF. For my first ever ultra this was a baptism of fire.. Picked up an infection along the way in my left leg and foot. Met some amazing athletes and marshals and supporters. And even managed to raise funds and awareness for BCUK. Will I be back next year??? Watch this space!!!"
